Christel took over the Academy from Eline Snel in September 2024. Trained in the Eline Snel Method herself, she leads AMT with a focus on quality, growth and making mindfulness more widely accessible to children, parents and professionals

Eline is a mindfulness and compassion trainer, author and founder of AMT. She developed the Eline Snel Method for children and young people, now used internationally, and is the author of the bestselling Sitting Still Like a Frog and Breathe Through This.

Mirjam is a teacher and mindfulness trainer at a Mindful School in Amsterdam. She brings years of classroom experience to AMT and has been training new child trainers since 2021, combining practical school experience with a deep understanding of mindfulness in education.

Anouk is a mindfulness trainer, educator and former Montessori teacher. She works with children, young people and parents and is known for an open, engaged teaching style that connects mindfulness with everyday life in the classroom and beyond.

Jan-Paul is an educationalist and experienced trainer with a strong background in education. In his teaching, he combines professional depth with a light, open atmosphere and encourages participants to give themselves time to grow into their role as a mindfulness trainer.

Renate contributes to the ongoing development and renewal of the AMT method books, bringing a fresh educational perspective to the content. She helps refine language, examples and exercises so they remain current, inclusive and relevant to today’s children and professionals.

After nearly twenty years in education, Marianne now focuses fully on mindfulness for children, parents and teachers. Her work combines mindfulness with Nonviolent Communication and restorative practices, always with warmth, safety and a healthy dose of joy.

Vanessa supports participants with practical questions about AMT’s trainings and programmes and coordinates much of the day-to-day administration. Alongside her work at AMT, she is a children’s coach with a special interest in emotions, sensitivity and mindfulness.

Angie has been trained in the Eline Snel Method for more than ten years and is also an MBSR teacher. Based in Hong Kong, she works with children, young people and parents, including families in disadvantaged and underserved communities across Asia.

Bea brings the Eline Snel Method to children and adolescents across Latin America and Spain. Her work centres on presence, practice, play and reflection, helping young people develop greater awareness and trust in themselves.

Christian is a child and adolescent psychiatrist based in Buenos Aires. His work focuses on wellbeing, resilience and prevention, with a particular passion for bringing mindfulness directly into schools and school communities.

Vicky is a psychopedagogue, dance and movement therapist and certified AMT mindfulness instructor. She brings contemplative practice, movement and expressive arts together in her work with children, families and communities.
