About AMT
Founded in 2008 by Eline Snel, AMT has grown into an international institute dedicated to making mindfulness a natural part of education, parenting and everyday life. Through our trainings, we help professionals pass these skills on.

Meet the people
Behind AMT is an international team with a shared belief in the power of attention. Together, we develop the trainings, support our trainer community and help bring the Eline Snel Method into the lives of children, young people and parents.

The AMT certification
More than a course. A recognised qualification.
Complete an AMT training and become a certified AMT trainer, ready to bring the method into your own work and join an international community of professionals using it around the world.
AMT is registered with CRKBO, the Dutch register for recognised professional training providers. This means our trainings meet established quality standards for professional education. Our certification is used by trainers in more than 40 countries and gives you a clear, professional qualification to bring the method into your own work.
A recognised credential for your CV and practice, the right to call yourself a certified AMT trainer, and the confidence to bring the method into your work in your own way.
Having AMT-certified professionals in your school shows a clear commitment to children’s wellbeing, attention and resilience, and gives your team practical tools to support them every day.

Why this matters
Growing up asks a lot of children. And you’re the one in the room with them.
Around one in seven children and adolescents lives with a mental health condition. Behind every statistic is a child trying to navigate pressure, distraction and big emotions in a world that rarely slows down.
At the heart of AMT
Resilience doesn't grow from one thing. It's rooted in awareness.
Our Resilience Model shows how resilience grows from the ground up. Safety and trust create the conditions for attention to take root. From there, children develop the inner strength to stay steady in themselves and the connection to engage with others and the world around them.
The ripple effect
Your impact doesn’t stop with one child

One trained professional.
Dozens, every year.
What children learn, they pass on.

Good to know
A few things you may be wondering.
Yes. For our Child Trainer course, you need to have completed an eight-week MBSR, MBCT or Mindfulness in Education & Parenting programme before the course starts.
You should work with children aged 4–12, or intend to do so, in a school, practice, institution or other professional setting.
The Child Trainer course has a total study load of approximately 95 hours. This includes the training itself, preparation and study, your eight-week pilot training and your final report.
You attend all training days, complete an eight-week pilot training with children, take part in supervision and submit a final report. Once these requirements are successfully completed, you receive your AMT certification.
Some of our trainings are available online, while others take place in person. Available formats depend on the course, language and start date. Check the individual training page for the current options.
