There is nothing to pay when you apply. Once your place is confirmed, we’ll send you an invoice. This can be made out to you, your employer or your school.

Good to know

A few things you may be wondering.

Do I need prior mindfulness experience?

Yes. For our Child Trainer course, you need to have completed an eight-week MBSR, MBCT or Mindfulness in Education & Parenting programme before the course starts.

Do I need to be working with children already?

You should work with children aged 4–12, or intend to do so, in a school, practice, institution or other professional setting.

How much time should I expect to invest?

The Child Trainer course has a total study load of approximately 95 hours. This includes the training itself, preparation and study, your eight-week pilot training and your final report.

What do I need to do to become certified?

You attend all training days, complete an eight-week pilot training with children, take part in supervision and submit a final report. Once these requirements are successfully completed, you receive your AMT certification.

Can I follow the training online?

Some of our trainings are available online, while others take place in person. Available formats depend on the course, language and start date. Check the individual training page for the current options.
