I work as a native English speaker in a bilingual kindergarten in Regensburg. I bring mindfulness into the children's everyday life through play, stories and movement, and I believe children learn best when they feel safe, seen and accepted.

I work as a native English speaker in a bilingual kindergarten in Germany. For several years, I have had the privilege of accompanying children in their early development and supporting them through play, language and everyday experiences. What inspires me most is the curiosity of children and the way they discover the world around them. I believe that children learn best when they feel safe, seen and accepted. For me, education is not only about teaching skills, but also about building relationships and creating an environment where children can grow with confidence.

The course changed my perspective on mindfulness with children. It is not about asking them to be quiet or sit still. It is about helping them become aware of their body, emotions and thoughts in a playful and natural way, through movement, stories, play and connection. Children already have the ability to be mindful. Our role as educators is not to create it in them, but to create opportunities where they can discover it themselves. In my daily work, I try to be more present, to observe more carefully, and to listen without immediately judging or reacting.
