Mindfulness appears to have a major effect on the child's brain. Especially on those parts of the brain that become active during stress, emotions, aggression, and executive functions. Brain research shows that children who have done or do mindfulness deal differently with stressful situations and are better able to empathize with others. They make different choices in conflict situations: more consciously and from a place of calm. Less from an impulse or drive. Mindfulness is good for all developing children's brains.

Currently, there are studies on the mindfulness Method Eline Snel Method for children and youth. For these studies, we are working together with Professor Ron Scholte from Radboud University Nijmegen, the Trimbos Institute, and abroad with Professor Herman Lo from the City University of Hong Kong. We will keep you informed of the results via our social media channels and the website.

  • RESEARCH G. MICHEL ET.AL. IN FRANCE AND BELGIUM (ARTICLE IN FRENCH)

This 2018 study examined the effect of mindfulness using the Eline Snel Method on 139 third- to fifth-year secondary school students in France and Belgium. No significant results were found between the intervention and control groups in the general population. However, children who exhibited high symptoms on questionnaires regarding well-being and internalizing problems prior to the intervention showed significant results. Mindfulness provided them with strategies for regulating their emotions, helped them develop mindfulness skills, and improved their well-being.
