The Mindful School is a school where mindfulness training is no longer a luxury, but a necessity to cope with the many changes, tasks and challenges in education with both head and heart.

In 2014, the first Mindful School according to the Eline Snel Method became a reality. At the P.J. Troelstraschool in Amsterdam, all 750 students received mindfulness lessons throughout the year, under the inspiring guidance of two experienced mindful teachers, Marijke Paulusma and Yvon Mul. The positive effects on behavior, the peace in the classroom and the learning performance were clearly visible, measurable and palpable. Meanwhile, more than 20 teachers at this school have been trained in mindfulness. Parents are also given the opportunity to follow the parent training according to the Eline Snel Method at the school.

Currently, there are several schools in primary and secondary education in the Netherlands that qualify as Mindful School. Below you will find an overview of the Mindful Schools.
